EMERGENCY SERVICE / GBP RESCUE

Google Business Profile suspended? Fix the issue before you appeal.

First: don’t appeal yet. Most failed reinstatements die in the first hour, a panic appeal filed before the violation is found and fixed, or an evidence form opened before the documents are ready. The order that works: preserve, diagnose, fix, then appeal once, properly.

THE FIRST 24 HOURS

What to do right now, and what makes it worse.

Everything below is free advice, whether you hire us or not. It’s the difference between a recoverable case and a long one.

DO, IN THIS ORDER

1 · Preserve everything. Screenshot the suspension email and your profile exactly as it stands. Evidence of the “before” state matters later.

2 · Write down recent changes. Everything edited in the last 30 days, name, categories, address, services, new managers. The trigger usually hides here.

3 · Gather documents now. Business registration, license, tax certificate, a utility bill, each showing the exact name and address on the profile.

4 · Read the email precisely. Suspended vs. Disabled, profile vs. Account, the exact wording decides the correct path.

DON’T, THESE DEEPEN THE HOLE

Don’t create a new profile. Duplicates violate policy, get caught, and can sink the original’s case with them.

Don’t panic-edit. Rapid-fire changes during review look like exactly the instability that triggers suspensions.

Don’t appeal before the fix. Google warns against multiple appeals for the same issue — your first shot is your best shot. Spend it on a corrected profile, not a plea.

Don’t open the evidence form early. Once it’s open, Google currently gives you about 60 minutes to submit. Prepare documents first, then open it.

SOURCE: Google’s appeal documentation, checked July 2026, “Once you open the evidence form, you must submit it within 60 minutes or it won’t be attached to your appeal.” Process details change; we re-verify on every case.

THE EVIDENCE CHECKLIST

The checklist we run, shown openly.

Hiding the process wouldn’t make us more valuable. Running it right does. This is what a complete case file looks like before anyone touches the appeal button.

GOOGLE’S LIST
What their documentation names

Official business registration · business license · tax certificates · utility bills (electricity, phone, cable, internet). Every document must show a business name and address matching the profile, mismatches are the quiet killer of appeals.

WHAT STRENGTHENS A CASE
Beyond the minimum

Storefront, signage, and lettered-vehicle photos · proof of service area for service-area businesses · a written log of what was wrong and what you corrected, showing Google a fixed profile, not a promise to fix it.

WHAT WE DO WITH IT
Diagnosis → fix → one appeal

We find the violation, correct the profile, assemble the file in Google’s language, and prepare the submission so the 60-minute window is a formality, documents staged, statement written, nothing improvised.

After submission, Google’s stated timeline is typically up to five business days for a decision (as of July 2026), sometimes longer. One follow-up review is included; we track it with you either way.

WHAT WE NEVER CLAIM

No reinstatement guarantees. From us or anyone.

Google controls the decision and the timeline. Full stop. Here’s how to spot rescue services that pretend otherwise:

RED FLAG 01

“Guaranteed reinstatement”, a promise about a decision the seller doesn’t make. If they’ll lie to Google’s face about certainty, they’ll lie to yours.

RED FLAG 02

“We have contacts inside Google”, reinstatements run through the documented appeal process. Claimed back-channels are theater, billed hourly.

RED FLAG 03

Appeal-first, diagnose-never, firing your one best appeal without fixing the violation. When it fails, they’ll happily sell you the escalation too.

What we promise instead: a properly diagnosed case, a corrected profile, a complete evidence file, one well-prepared appeal, and the truth about your odds before you pay.

FAIR QUESTIONS

Fair questions from suspended owners

Why was my Google Business Profile suspended?

Common triggers: recent edits to your name, categories, or address; service-area conflicts; shared, virtual, or reused addresses; a sudden review spike; competitor reports; or one of Google’s periodic trust sweeps. The suspension email rarely names the cause, which is why diagnosis comes first. Appealing before you know the violation is how most appeals die.

What should I do in the first 24 hours?

Preserve first: screenshot the suspension email and your profile’s current state. Write down everything changed in the last 30 days. Gather documents that match your profile’s exact business name and address. What not to do: don’t keep editing the profile, don’t file a panic appeal, and don’t create a new profile.

What evidence does Google want in an appeal?

Per Google’s own appeal documentation: official business registration, business license, tax certificates, and utility bills, each showing a business name and address that match the profile exactly. Storefront, vehicle, and signage photos strengthen a case. Have everything ready before the evidence form is opened, Google currently gives you about 60 minutes to submit once it’s open.

How long does reinstatement take?

Google states appeal decisions typically take up to five business days (as of July 2026). Complex cases and escalations can run longer, and the timing of reinstatement after a favorable decision is Google’s alone. Anyone quoting a guaranteed turnaround is guessing with your livelihood.

Can anyone guarantee reinstatement?

No. Google makes the decision, and nobody outside Google controls it. A reinstatement guarantee is the reddest flag in this industry — it tells you the seller is comfortable promising things they don’t control. We prepare cases properly and tell you the odds honestly instead.

Should I just create a new profile instead?

No. Duplicate profiles violate Google’s policies, usually get caught and suspended, and can sink the original profile’s chances with them. The fix-and-appeal path is slower than you want and faster than starting over after a second suspension.

What if my appeal was already denied?

That’s the escalated lane. Google warns against re-submitting the same appeal before a decision, and a denied appeal means the next attempt needs materially new evidence and a corrected root cause, not the same case, louder. We start with a case review and give you the exact scope in writing, from $1,500.

How fast can you start and what does it cost?

We will review your case and respond within one business day. Standard first-appeal recovery starts at $750 one-time, diagnosis, corrections, evidence review, appeal preparation and submission support, one follow-up review. Denied appeals and complex cases start at $1,500 after case review, scope in writing before work begins. The $750 is credited against your first invoice when a partnership begins within 30 days.

Once you’re back: make it not happen again.

Suspensions almost always trace to eligibility and accuracy problems that proper profile management prevents. That’s the quiet argument for running your local presence deliberately, the way our Local SEO & Maps pillar does, with your $750 already credited if you start within 30 days.
