Profile management

What does Google Business Profile management cost?

Rarely sold on its own, usually bundled, and the honest answer depends on whether you have one profile or forty.

Key takeaways
  • Standalone prices are scarce because most agencies bundle it into a retainer.
  • Profile count, starting condition, review volume and suspension risk set the number.
  • One profile is a habit. Forty is an operation with a change log.
  • A profile fixed while the site and citations still disagree will drift back.

Why a standalone price is hard to find

Most agencies fold profile management into a local SEO retainer rather than pricing it separately, so published standalone figures are scarce. We are not going to invent a range to fill the gap.

What can be described is what drives the cost, which is more useful when you are comparing quotes.

What drives it

Number of profiles. One is a habit. Forty is an operation with a spreadsheet and a change log.

Starting condition. A profile with conflicting NAP across thirty directories needs weeks of correction before ongoing work means anything.

Review volume. Responding to four reviews a month and forty are different jobs.

Suspension risk. Service-area businesses, recent moves and rebrands all raise it, and raise the care required on every edit.

What ongoing management should include

Posts and photos on a real cadence. Review responses within a day or two. Q&A monitoring, because competitors answer your questions if you do not. Category and attribute review as Google changes them. Monitoring for unauthorised edits, which happen.

And a record of what was changed and when, so a suspension can be traced to a cause.

What it is worth

For a single-location business the profile is usually the highest-return asset in local marketing, and neglect is expensive in a way that is invisible until it is not.

For multi-location operators the risk changes shape: one careless bulk edit can take down several profiles at once.

Our position

We do not sell profile management separately. It runs inside the monthly partnership, because a profile fixed while the site and citations still disagree with it will drift back.

“For a single-location business the profile is usually the highest-return asset in local marketing.”

Questions owners ask

Can I manage my Google Business Profile myself?

Yes, and many owners should. It needs a habit rather than a tool. Where it gets hard is multiple locations, high review volume, or a suspension history.

How much should GBP management cost?

Standalone prices are rarely published. Ask what drives the quote, profile count, starting condition, review volume, suspension risk, and compare on scope.

Is profile management worth paying for?

For one location with low review volume, often not. For multi-location operators, the risk of a careless edit usually justifies it.
