AI visibility & search for Qatar businesses

The highest Bing share of any Gulf market we serve, and a search landscape whose long tail reflects the population rather than the region.

Where we actually are

Mindflow is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and works with Qatar businesses remotely. We have no office here, no local entity and no local phone number, and we are not going to imply otherwise. What we bring is a measurement practice that works the same way in any market, run personally rather than handed to an account team.

Key takeaways
  • Qatar has the highest Bing share of the Gulf markets we serve, at 3.59%
  • CocCoc appears in Qatar's top six engines, a direct reflection of its labour population
  • Qatar's MCIT signed an AI collaboration with PwC Middle East and OpenAI in December 2025
  • We found no document restricting any AI assistant here, and we won't claim one exists
THE SEARCH PICTURE

A long tail that reflects who actually lives here

Qatar carries the highest Bing share of the non-UK markets we serve, at 3.59%. Modest against the UK's 6.24%, but meaningfully above Saudi Arabia's 2.66% and the UAE's 2.88%.

The more telling detail is further down. CocCoc. A Vietnamese browser and search engine, appears in Qatar's top six engines. That combination appears in none of the other four markets we serve, and it reflects Qatar's Southeast Asian labour population directly.

It is a small share and we are not going to overstate it. What it illustrates is that a country's search landscape is shaped by who is actually in it, and regional generalisations about ‘the Gulf’ flatten exactly this kind of difference.

THE AI PICTURE

State procurement is the honest adoption signal

ChatGPT holds 75.56% of assistant usage, with Gemini at 8.63%, Copilot 6.89%, Perplexity 4.75% and Claude 4.17%.

For adoption beyond raw share, the clearest verifiable signal is institutional rather than survey-based. Qatar's Ministry of Communications and Information Technology signed a collaboration agreement with PwC Middle East and OpenAI on 2 December 2025, described by MCIT as introducing a national AI sandbox and supporting AI-powered projects.

We will note what we could not establish, because the absence is itself information: we found no regulatory document restricting any AI assistant in Qatar, and we are not going to assert one exists.

WHERE WE'D START

The first thing we'd measure

Qatar's search long tail makes the language and audience question concrete rather than theoretical. Before recommending anything we establish who is actually searching, in which language, and on which surface, then build the prompt set from that rather than from a regional template.

The deliverable is a baseline you own: visibility percentage per assistant, per surface, with named competitors and the raw responses attached. It takes about a week and it belongs to you whether or not we work together afterwards.

How we measure it

Every number on this page has a source and a date

Market figures here come from named sources, pulled on a stated date, and we say when we could not verify something. That is the same standard we apply to a client report.

Our documented results are in home services, in the United States. We are not going to imply a track record in this market that we have not built. What we publish instead is the method, in full, before you pay anything. No ranking guarantees. Just transparent measurement and documented work.

FAIR QUESTIONS

Fair questions about working with us in Qatar

Do you have a Qatar office?

No. Atlanta, working remotely. No local entity, no local number.

Are AI assistants restricted in Qatar?

We found no CRA, MCIT or NCSA document restricting any assistant, and we are not going to assert a restriction we could not verify.

Why does Bing come up so much on your market pages?

Because it is the surface Copilot draws on, and because its share varies more between markets than people expect. In Qatar it is the highest of the Gulf markets we serve.
